Treatment Options

There are many ways that a patient can benefit from medical cannabis treatment. The Department of Health Regulation does not allow smoking (ignition of fire) of the cannabis plant. In our dispensaries we offer medical cannabis in flower or concentrates, to provide patients with different ways to medicate themselves according to their needs.

Cannabis flower is generally the most known and common medical cannabis way of treatment. The flower can vary in its THC content of 10% or 30% in its weight, depending on the strain or cultivator. Our counters only have the highest quality grade of cannabis flowers to provide patients with the healing power needed to achieve their doctor's recommendation safely and effectively.

The most efficient way for a patient to medicate is with medical cannabis concentrates. Every day new technologies arise to extract the medical components of the flower to produce concentrated material from 70% to 90% of medicinal content by weight. In Clínica Verde we only work with products that have been rigorously tested in laboratories, this way we ensure that we bring the purest and most powerful concentrates of medicine available, to provide the patient with the cleanest medication.

Vaporization is the healthiest and most discreet alternative to inhale medicinal cannabis contrary to smoking it. Vaporizing cannabis can be achieved through a dry herb vaporizer for the flower or an atomizer for concentrates in oils. Vaporizing the medication only requires medicinal cannabis to reach a temperature of 392 degrees F to cause the crystals containing the medicinal components to boil (become vapor) without burning the plant material.

The effects of vaporizing can be felt immediately up to about 15 minutes, giving the patient more control over the dose required to relieve their symptoms. It's rapid but relatively low duration (1 - 2 hours), so it makes it ideal for managing the symptoms of pain.

Clínica Verde offers options to vaporize the medication both in flower and in concentrates. We also offer the necessary materials such as portable herb-dry vaporizers or oils.

A cannabis edible, also known as a cannabis-infused food or simply an edible, is a food product that contains cannabinoids, especially tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Although the term edible may refer to either a food or a drink, a cannabis-infused drink may be referred to specifically as a liquid edible or drinkable.

Cannabis capsules can contain varying amounts of cannabinoids (active chemical compounds in cannabis), depending on your medical condition. These cannabis pills contain concentrated forms of cannabinoids for maximum health benefits. THC pills can treat a variety of symptoms including pain, seizures, sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, cancer, inflammation, and headaches. Here are a few reasons why you should considering making the switch to THC pills.

THC and CBD are both fat soluble, making the skin an effective way to absorb the medicinal components of cannabis. The topics are ideal for patients seeking a quick relief without having to inhale or ingest the medicine. The use of topics is a great alternative for patients who want to avoid the effects that usually are associated with the use of cannabis, since the ingredients never reach the blood. Clínica Verde provides the patient with medicinal cannabis in the form of creams or patches.
